Details: This is an INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL class and is not beginner friendly. While this series is open to dancers who have completed Level 1, we HIGHLY recommend that students have taken at least six months of consistent Zouk Level 2 before enrolling. If we feel like you do not have the appropriate level of experience to take this class we may require you to un-enroll for the safety of the class. Head motion is one of the most intricate and technical aspects of Brazilian Zouk. This series moves at a fast pace and requires a strong foundation in connection, timing, and body awareness. Students should already be comfortable with the fundamentals of Zouk, including traveling turns / compass turns, all the fundamental basics, dance on time, etc.
